This school is administered by the AV. Meiyappan Foundation and takes its name from the late Shri. AV. Meiyappan who established several educational and charitable institutions. The school is recognised by the Govenment of Tamil Nadu as a co–educational Matriculation Higher Secondary School and the medium of instruction is English.
